Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking an experienced construction superintendent to supervise craft employees and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role focuses on the NE region, with collaboration across engineers, job teams, and foremen to optimize production and maintain high safety standards. The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in construction with at least 3 years in supervision, experience in heavy civil or marine infrastructure, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in construction with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Experience with heavy civil or marine infrastructure preferred.
• Experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers or waterfront structures.
• Ability to run multiple crews across various construction scopes.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the crew(s) and craft workers on projects.
• Manage productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with engineers and job teams to determine project needs.
• Optimize use of materials, equipment, and labor to maximize production and reduce costs.
• Set performance goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate with superintendents and foremen to ensure workflow and schedule adherence.
• Resolve conflicts and scheduling issues, informing management as appropriate.
• Assist in planning craft labor, materials, and equipment needs.
• Track material stock and orders.
• Ensure project rules, safety, attendance, and conduct policies are followed.
• Perform additional ad hoc assignments per management direction.
