Job summary

Lancaster’s Custom Dock & Lift Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee technically complex marine construction projects on or over water.

This role concentrates on dock structures, marina facilities, dredging, and shoreline work, requiring precise planning and strong leadership. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in marine construction, with a track record in heavy civil projects, risk management, and coordination with owners, engineers,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in marine construction
• Experience managing dock and marina construction projects
• Strong knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
• Ability to travel to active job sites up to 75%

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle management of marine construction projects from preconstruction planning through project closeout
• Oversee residential docks, private marina slips, and commercial marine structures
• Develop and manage detailed work plans, cost structures, baseline schedules, and recovery schedules
• Supervise deep-water operations including pile driving
• Coordinate marine logistics and vessel access systems across waterways
• Direct collaboration between field leadership, engineering teams, subcontractors, and owners
• Maintain financial oversight including forecasting, cost tracking, and change management
• Review and approve submittals, lift plans, and marine work plans
• Prepare and negotiate change orders and contract modifications
• Travel to active marine sites up to 75%
