Job summary

Kokosing Industrial’s Marine division seeks a Project Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, based in Baltimore, MD. The role oversees marine/construction projects from preconstruction to final approval, including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.

Candidates should expect extensive travel (5–7 months/year) with hotel rotations as needed. Responsibilities include leading crews, managing subcontractors, and providing technical estimating support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
• 3+ years project management experience in marine/heavy civil projects.
• Technical understanding of marine vessels and systems.
• Strong scheduling knowledge and ability to monitor progress to schedule.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• OSHA 30 and EM 385-1-1 familiarity/certifications.
• Primavera P6 certification and experience; AutoCAD/Hypack knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of marine construction projects.
• Ensure project is delivered within budget, schedule and cost targets.
• Project scheduling using CPM.
• Develop project plans meeting client requirements and timelines.
• Forecast budgets and track expenditures; manage client communications.
• Coordinate vessel and crew logistics; oversee procurement and subcontractors.
