We are seeking a technically minded Senior Product Design Engineer to lead the planning and development of critical functionality across Apple Maps platforms. The focus will be on geo services and maps data implementation. This role involves working at the intersection of Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to enhance both new and existing product offerings.
This position is ideal for motivated individuals who love solving problems, designing systems, and working cross-functionally. You will influence architecture, lead high-impact initiatives, and help define the long-term strategy for Apple Maps.
This role will serve as a technical anchor, owning communication of products, platforms, and systems to stakeholders. You will be the point of contact to help triage issues and onboard customers. The ideal candidate must be able to articulate all aspects of our products, guide partner teams on development needs, and represent the team’s work in discussions.
At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation and is determined within a range, providing opportunities for growth. The pay range for this role is $165,500 to $293,800, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
