Job summary

Lyft is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Mapping team to lead a rapidly growing group delivering user-facing mapping experiences. You will mentor engineers, shape career development, and drive inclusive, collaborative teams while prioritizing backlog and long-term goals.

You will work closely with Product, Design, and Data Science to ship high-quality software for millions of users, in a hybrid in-office role in San Francisco. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry software development experience.
• Experience leading software engineering teams through tough problems.
• Experience shipping a mobile product with millions of users.
• Ability to decompose complex business problems and lead fast-paced execution.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Manage a rapidly growing team of engineers developing user-facing Mapping experiences.
• Mentor and guide professional and technical development of team members.
