Job summary

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a MAP Principal Liaison Engineer (MAP) for the A220 program to advance engineering solutions for non-conformities.

The role emphasizes aircraft systems, cabin, electrical and mechanical installation, and structures, requiring 13+ years of aerospace experience and CAD familiarity, with CATIA preferred. On-site work with travel and growth opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 13+ years of experience or proven competency at required level.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification preferred.
• 10% domestic and international travel.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and installation.
• Experience with CATIA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, approve and release technical solutions with justifications.
• Analyze malfunctions and conduct troubleshooting.
• Interface between design office and manufacturing.
• Support FAL US during delivery and flight line activities.
• Monitor corrective actions and design updates.
• Knowledge of internal processes and manuals.
• Ability to work across boundaries and self-motivate.
