SiFly seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop, deploy, and support automated production test systems for PCBAs, subassemblies, and finished products. The role covers NPI, production ramp and sustained manufacturing, with responsibility for validation and production release of electromechanical systems.

You'll use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate test development, troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation while collaborating with design and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of manufacturing test engineering for complex electronic/electromechanical products.
• Direct experience shipping to customers in a production environment.
• Experience supporting NPI, ramp, and sustained manufacturing.
• Develop production test solutions including fixtures and station architecture.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across hardware, firmware/software, electrical, and electromechanical domains.
• Experience with test instrumentation, test-system validation, GR&R, calibration, data collection, and traceability.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for deployment and manufacturing support.

Responsabilités

• Develop, validate, deploy, and maintain automated production test systems for PCBAs, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Define test station architecture, test protocols, coverage, limits, fixtures, instrumentation, interfaces, software, data collection, and pass/fail criteria.
• Develop, modify, and debug automated test software for DUT communication, instrument control, test sequencing, data acquisition, analysis, and result traceability.
• Partner with Engineering during NPI and Design for Test reviews to ensure robust production tests.
• Improve test cycle time, throughput, FPY, test coverage, and production efficiency.
• Establish test-system validation and measurement controls (GR&R, calibration, traceability).
• Support MES/serial-number traceability, production test records, failure analysis, corrective actions, and floor troubleshooting.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate test protocols, software debugging, station development, and data analysis while maintaining ownership.
