Job summary

Nextpower is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead the transition of NPI test solutions into scalable, high-volume production test systems. You will drive DFT, oversee tester development, and ensure production test systems meet yield and ramp targets across global CM partners.

The ideal candidate will manage ECO/ECN changes, maintain strict version control, and deploy standardized test systems while optimizing test coverage and cycle times.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing test engineering in power electronics.
• Experience leading lab operations and managing technical staff.
• Experience transitioning NPI to high-volume production.
• Proficiency in ICT, BFT, SFT test methodologies.
• Ability to read schematics and perform DFT analysis.
• Experience with global contract manufacturers.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead test strategy for NPI to high-volume production.
• Drive DFT improvements to increase coverage and yield.
• Define test coverage across ICT, BFT, and SFT.
• Collaborate with tester suppliers during FAT/SAT.
• Develop scalable test architectures for high-volume ramps.
• Forecast capacity and manage tester inventory.
• Optimize cycle time, throughput, and station balancing.
• Manage ECO/ECN changes and release test programs.
• Maintain version control and regression testing.
• Deploy standardized test systems across multiple CMs.
• Establish maintenance and uptime strategies.
• Monitor FPY and FY; lead root cause actions.
• Develop dashboards for production/yield visibility.
