Job summary

Curtiss Wright Round Rock is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Technician to perform advanced manufacturing, testing, inspection, and production-support activities in alignment with engineering requirements and quality standards.

You will apply broad manufacturing knowledge to complex assignments on parts, components, and assemblies at our Round Rock site. The role emphasizes interpretation of engineering drawings, precision measurement, troubleshooting, and process improvements, with onsite work in

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, inspection and test processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, schematics and specifications.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measurement equipment, fixtures and production/test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced mechanical, structural, or other manufacturing and assembly operations per engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
• Performs detailed inspections, measurements, functional tests, acceptance tests, and verification activities.
• Sets up, operates, troubleshoots and adjusts specialized manufacturing, inspection, and test equipment; performs complex rework and repairs.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex manufacturing and tooling issues; recommends process requirements for new and existing processes.
• Supports new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, and transition of products from development into production.
• Collects and evaluates operating data for on-line adjustments and records production, inspection, test, and traceability information.
