Job summary

VitalPath in Maplewood, MN is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Technician to support Operations, NPD, and Engineering. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, optimize processes, and perform data-driven analyses to ensure compliant manufacturing.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, collaboration across departments, and leadership in solving advanced product and equipment issues. Onsite, day schedule with growth opportunities in a fast-paced medical device environment.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED.
3+ years in a manufacturing/operations technical role.
Experience in a medical device or GMP environment (class 7 cleanroom).
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
FDA/ISO 13485 familiarity.
Independent work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting of equipment, processes and product issues with minimal downtime.
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem solving.
Create, execute, and document IQ/OQ/PQ testing.
Maintain and improve equipment reliability through preventive maintenance.
Provide training and mentorship to technicians and operators.
Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
