Job summary

Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician for our Warwick, Rhode Island team. You will work on biomedical textiles, operating weaving and knitting machines, and supporting activities from setup to quality inspections in a controlled environment.

The role requires 10+ years in weaving/knitting manufacturing, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with English communication and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in weaving and/or knitting manufacturing.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience with fine textiles/yearns (<100 denier).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving background.
• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform work to SOPs, MI’s and equipment manufacturer Instructions.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment; perform condition checks.
• Operate weaving and knitting machines to meet customer specs.
• Identify and resolve technical issues; suggest process improvements or cost savings.
• Assist with IQs, installations, and modifications of equipment.
• Complete paperwork: travelers, forms, and in-process documentation.
• Maintain proper care of equipment, materials, and supplies used in manufacturing.

We're looking for a Senior Manufacturing Technician to join our Warwick team working on biomedical textiles!

Responsibilities

• Perform work to standard operating procedures such as WI’s, SOP’s, MI’s, MM’s, OP’s, and equipment manufacturer’s instructions as required.
• Work independently as well as in a team setting to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to define and resolve issues as well as perform process condition checks.
• Operate and setup various weaving and knitting machines to meet customer specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and assist in identifying areas for process improvement and/or cost savings opportunities.
• Assists with Installation qualifications (IQ), installations, and modification of equipment.
• Accurately complete required paperwork: including job travelers, job related forms, and in-process documentation.
• Possess competent knowledge of proper use and care of equipment, materials, and supplies used in equipment / manufacturing work.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits at all times.
• Independently prioritize daily work scheduling and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a weaving and or knitting manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience working with fine textiles/yearns (<100 denier)
• Have a strong troubleshooting and problem-solving background.
• Must be proficient in using computer and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Experience with knitting and or weaving machine setup and programming.
• Experience working in a (CER) controlled environment room.
