Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support process development, scale-up and implementation of new manufacturing capabilities.
• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations focusing on safety, quality, reliability, throughput and cost.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze process data for continuous improvement.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment modifications and startup activities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (P&IDs, SOPs, standards).
• Participate in process safety reviews and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams.

Job description

A rapidly growing, global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the development, scale-up and implementation of new manufacturing processes at its Southwest Kentucky site. This high-visibility role will work closely with Operations, Engineering and other technical teams to help move new processes from development into production, while also supporting process improvement, equipment implementation and ongoing manufacturing performance. This is a full-time, direct-hire position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support process development, scale-up and implementation of new manufacturing capabilities.
• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, reliability, throughput and cost.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze process data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment modifications, installation, commissioning and startup activities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures and technical standards.
• Participate in process safety reviews, risk assessments and structured problem-solving activities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is required.
• 5+ years of process engineering or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience within a continuous-process manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Experience with process controls, P&IDs, capital projects and/or commissioning is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
