Job summary

MassMEP seeks an experienced Project Manager to deploy lean and continuous improvement programs for manufacturing clients across Massachusetts. You will lead projects, engage clients, and coordinate with the sales team to identify future opportunities.

You’ll work with a skilled MassMEP team dedicated to transforming operations statewide. The role requires strong communication, project management, and a passion for helping manufacturers achieve lasting impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent training/experience.
10-15 years' experience in training, engineering, quality, management, or supervisory role in manufacturing environment.
Proven experience automating downstream operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Solid presentation skills and ability to create engaging materials.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a flexible schedule.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement activities; drive standardization and consistency of approach.
Fully execute and deliver full scope of MassMEP training projects to clients as outlined in grant or contract.
Monitor trainings and respond to client questions and concerns.
Engage growth upselling opportunities with clients during client survey process to build on existing relationships.
Work closely with Business Development Advisor and function as partner on projects.
