Job summary

Venturatalents is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a hands-on, plant-level manufacturing finance role in Little Rock, AR. The position prioritizes cost accounting, standard cost system ownership, and close partnership with plant leadership and operations.

Key responsibilities include FP&A cycles, variance analysis, and capital expenditure ROI modeling, with SAP FI/CO and Excel/Power BI usage. On-site, full-time, with minimal travel; requires 5+ years of direct manufacturing finance

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting or related field.
5+ years DIRECT manufacturing finance experience.
Experience owning and maintaining a standard cost system.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing variances: PPV, Labor, Material, Overhead.
Plant-level involvement with leadership, operations, and supply chain.
Advanced Excel and SAP FI/CO or equivalent ERP.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the standard cost system including BOM reviews, cost rollups, and overhead rate analysis.
Lead manufacturing variance analysis - PPV, Labor efficiency/rate, Material usage, Overhead absorption.
Manage inventory valuation across raw materials, WIP, finished goods.
Perform WIP analysis and COGS reconciliation during month-end close.
Understand impact of variances on inventory valuation and margins.
Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles (monthly/quarterly/annual).
Conduct variance analyses (Actual vs Budget vs Prior Year) and present findings.
Partner with Plant Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement to drive cost reductions.
Support capital expenditure analyses and ROI modeling.
Leverage SAP FI/CO for financial reporting; maintain dashboards in Excel/Power BI.
