Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. in West Haven, CT, invites applications for a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with operations at our manufacturing sites and oversee cost of manufacture, inventory, KPI reporting, and product costing.

The role supports the Director of Supply Chain Finance across multiple facilities including scheduling, planning, and control activities. You will lead plant budgeting and forecasting, assist with monthly closes, and drive cost savings initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plant budgets and forecasts related to cost of manufacture, inventory, and KPI targets.
• Coordinate with operations to determine headcount, overhead, and testing costs.
• Support monthly financial close and reporting cycle.
• Report on monthly site KPI performance and explain variances.
• Support product costing including standard costs and cost quotes.
• Assist inventory management and resolve related issues with data analysis.
• Monitor accounting processes and internal controls for plant activity.
• Contribute to cost savings initiatives and ROI analyses for capital projects.
