Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Factory Senior ME Specialist to support TPM strategy and act as an expert for industrial performance. As part of the local leadership team, you will accelerate autonomy development across the factory and drive key improvement projects.

You will develop LLT competencies, implement execution plans, and partner with HR and Training to sustain capability growth while leading cross-functional teams on floor-level improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing.
• 1-3 years working with Factory Management & Leadership teams, with success in supporting & developing cross functional teams.
• 1-3 years with an active role on the implementation of Goal Alignment/TPM.
• Understanding of cultural change management, process improvement, and business connections.
• Experience working with Line labor standards, Budget preparation/review, and line capability/speed studies
• Training effectiveness & facilitation
• 1-3 years working & developing improvement projects, loss analysis, & strong experience in leading /applying problem solving tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports definition, alignment, and implementation of the Local Leadership Team Execution Plan.
• Co-develop Local Leadership Team improvement strategy that considers loss analyses and external benchmarks.
• Provide alignment from the LLT/Key Stakeholders around the Execution Plan and cascade across the Business Unit.
• Partner with Local Leadership Team to define Execution Plans to deliver results including NCE rollout plans, digital enablers, CAPEX, and key improvement projects.
• Support the execution of the plan by ensuring governance and routines at LLT levels to track progress and sustainability.
• Spend time on factory floor to evaluate maturity and identify key opportunities; provide guidance and corrective actions.
• Capable of being point of contact in absence of team Manager.
• Develop Local Leadership Team ability to identify opportunities to transform workplace, people, and behaviors to deliver results.
• Partner with HR/Training & Learning to establish and evaluate function/pillar capability plans.
• Train and coach LLT on needed system competences and escalate for external support as needed.
• Develops and manages critical competence within ME team and Focused Improvement Technicians; build a pipeline of internal talent.

Position Summary

The Factory Senior ME Specialist actively supports the implementation of the Local Leadership Team (LLT) improvement strategy. The role acts as the center of expertise for TPM and Industrial Performance. This role is a member of the local leadership team and acts as an accelerator for execution of the autonomy development plan throughout the factory.

Responsibilities

Supports definition, alignment, and implementation of the Local Leadership Team Execution Plan:

• Co-develop Local Leadership Team (LLT) improvement strategy that considers:
  - Loss Analysis / External Benchmarks
• Provide alignment from the LLT/ Key Stakeholders around the Execution Plan and supports cascade across the Business Unit (Production Department communication strategy).
• Partner with Local Leadership Team to define their Execution Plans to deliver the expected results that include:
  - NCE rollout plans
  - Other factory key enablers (Digital, Capex)
  - Key improvement projects
  - Key competency building activities
• Support the execution of the improvement plan by:
  - Ensures proper governance / routines at LLT levels to track execution progression and improvement sustainability
  - Spend time on factory floor to evaluate maturity progression and identify key opportunities.
  - Provide guidance and feedback to LLT and align on corrective actions to adjust execution plans
• Capable of being point of contact in absence of team Manager

Develop Critical Competenceies within Key Members of Local Leadership Team

• Develop Local Leadership Team ability to identify opportunities to transform workplace, people, and behaviors to deliver results through floor visits
• Partner with HR / Training & Learning to the LLT to establish and evaluate robustness of function/pillar capability plan
• Train and coach Local Leadership Team on needed system competences based on development needs and escalated for external support as needed
• Develops and manages critical competence within members of the ME team and Focused Improvement Technicians
  • Develop a pipeline of potential ME specialists from internal talent

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelors’ degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing.
• 1-3 years working with Factory Management & Leadership team,with success in supporting & developing cross functional teams.
• 1-3 years with an active role on the implementation of Goal Alignment/TPM.

Salary:$100,917.63 to$140,622.90 per year
