Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead a team of value stream engineers in supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement at our Logan, Utah site. This on-site role reports to the Director of Engineering and partners with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other functions to meet safety, quality, and capacity goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in supporting manufacturing equipment, processes, and operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating the work of engineers, technicians, contractors, or other technical resources.
• Demonstrated experience leading capital, equipment, or process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
• Aseptic manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers to support manufacturing operations and build technical capability.
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues affecting safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, Kaizen, and Problem Solving.
• Lead projects to improve processes, equipment, and workflow to increase capacity, productivity, and product quality.
• Manage capital projects from concept through implementation, including design, commissioning, qualification, and startup.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and EHS to execute value stream strategies.
• Ensure engineering activities adhere to safety standards, quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company policies including cGMP and EHS.
