Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize production processes, layouts, tooling, and assembly methods for a long term contract in Connecticut.

You will analyze manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions, support Windchill PLM, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance while driving improvements across ERP, CAD, and MES integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
• Windchill PLM knowledge and expertise.
• Experience configuring PLM applications and integrations.
• Agile PLM experience preferred.
• Hands-on manufacturing environment experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory compliance.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes, layouts, tooling, equipment installation, machining, material handling, and assembly processes.
• Develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes supporting SPC and process capability improvement.
• Manage product data and engineering change processes across the product lifecycle.
• Configure, implement, and support Windchill PLM solutions, providing business process and technical expertise.
• Configure workflows, attributes, lifecycles, and integrations with ERP, CAD, and MES systems.
• Support Agile PLM processes and product data governance activities.
• Verify process effectiveness through testing, inspections, and validation activities.
• Design fabrication procedures, tooling requirements, and equipment adaptations for production conditions.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead or support PLM and manufacturing improvement initiatives.

• Knowledge of SPC methodologies and quality tools.
• Windchill SME-level expertise.
• Experience configuring PLM applications and integrations.
• Agile PLM experience preferred.
• Hands-on manufacturing environment experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory compliance.
• Practical project management experience.
