The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years building complex mechanical systems, and proficiency with Siemens NX and Teamcenter. On-site work and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, aerospace, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience building complex mechanical systems
• Strong understanding of fundamental principles in mechanical and fluid systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Able to work on-site in Hawthorne, CA
• Proven ability to interface with multidisciplinary functions of mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems
• Experience and proficiency in developing and implementing work instructions and test procedures
• Proficiency in CAD and PLM systems (Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred)
• Experience with hardware subsystems including instrumentation, power systems, hazardous fluids, and structures
• Experience with build and test of complex assemblies at system and subsystem level
• Experience scaling manufacturing processes from development to rate production

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across design, supply chain, and production to execute the build process
• Author work instructions and processes for interdisciplinary teams
• Manage production team priorities, offer technical direction and drive execution
• Support manufacturing and assembly shop layouts
• Design production tooling, jigs, and platforms to improve build consistency and rate
• Other duties as assigned
