Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Engineering professional to support manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment validation. The role emphasizes execution within standard practices, with autonomy aligned to the operating discipline and guidance as needed.

The candidate will define production processes, validate designs for shop floor applications, and provide quotes for new products or changes. Will mentor junior contributors and drive quality improvements across teams.

Qualifications

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
Experience with PCDMIS software MasterCAM
APT NC Text-based programming
NX CAD Turbosoft Plus or similar CAM software
5-axis NC Machining
Product family ownership
New product introduction and process development
Airfoils or other gas/steam turbine hardware

Responsibilities

Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
Includes Manufacturing Engineers.
Provide quote packages for new products or process changes.
Subject matter expert in their respective product line.
Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
Manage project timelines and drive on-time completion.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
May use multiple sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
