Job summary

MPower Plus seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process flow planning, line layout, and workstation design for early concept through high-volume ramp-up. You will develop processes, SOPs, and launch checklists to ensure smooth production launches.

The role requires 7+ years in large-scale discrete manufacturing and strong cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and EHS. Knowledge of MES/ERP and Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or production launch.
• Direct experience in large-scale discrete manufacturing (auto, battery, energy, aerospace, heavy equipment).
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and EHS.

Responsibilities

• Lead process flow planning, line layout planning, and workstation design from concept through ramp-up.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to support production launches.
• Create and optimize SOPs, detailed work instructions, flow diagrams, routings, and launch checklists.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering on DFM/DFA.
• Guide GD&T and tolerance stack-up practices.
• Lead PFMEAs, Control Plans, APQP/PPAP inputs, and process validation trials.
• Conduct structured root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and related methodologies.
• Partner with Equipment and Controls teams to deploy tooling, fixtures, and safety systems.
• Integrate PFEP strategies, sequencing, packaging, and line-side material delivery configurations.
• Troubleshoot shop-floor bottlenecks and optimize cycle time, yield, and OEE.
