Allison Transmission in the United States is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve manufacturing processes, analyze efficiency, and support standardization with the manufacturing manager. You will design systems for continuous improvement, develop process documentation, evaluate new machinery, and lead capital projects while mentoring others across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• CAD proficiency with NX and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with GD&T and QA systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing systems focused on quality and throughput.
• Develop process documentation including routings and PFMEAs.
• Evaluate new machinery and lead tryouts/evaluations.
• Provide technical support to plant operations and capital projects.
• Develop cost estimates for major programs and document best practices.
