Job summary

Phillips Medisize in California seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to independently lead manufacturing engineering deliverables across NPI, product transfers, validation activities, and ongoing production. You will develop and improve processes, drive projects from development to readiness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Experience leading manufacturing engineering workstreams.
Experience developing, implementing, or optimizing manufacturing processes.
Experience with engineering documentation, change control, root cause analysis, process validation, or risk management.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement manufacturing processes, work instructions, routers, process flows, and SOPs.
Design and support work cells, layouts, tooling, fixtures, and equipment improvements.
Conduct time studies, labor analysis, line balancing, and capacity assessments.
Own manufacturing engineering deliverables for projects and workstreams.
Provide technical support during builds, validations, and production ramp-ups.
Support IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities and risk assessments.
Investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
