Job summary

Roth Staffing is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a medical device manufacturing company. The role focuses on leading manufacturing process development and optimization, applying Six Sigma and Lean tools to drive continuous improvement.

The position is a 7-month contract with potential extension, offering hourly pay in the USD range and involvement in validation, equipment design, and quality systems across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; 2+ years industry experience
• Master's degree (preferred) with 1+ years experience
• Experience with Six Sigma and quality methodologies (CQE preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes using Six Sigma and Lean tools.
• Monitor Critical Control Points to ensure product/process integrity.
• Design and execute experiments and validations (TMV/IQ/OQ/PQ) and generate reports.
• Collaborate with engineers on equipment selection and validation.
• Develop training and work instructions for production and Receiving Inspection.
• Maintain risk management files and support CAPA/SCAR/NCR processes.
• Oversee change control and quality support tasks across production processes.
