Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in electromechanical, aerospace, and industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead continuous improvement projects using lean and six sigma tools.
• Lead cross functional teams to support RCCA activities on CARs and DMRs.
• Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and tooling for new products.
• Lead implementation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Design assembly processes, work instructions, and layouts for production.
• Train personnel on tools, processes, and procedures.
• Estimate labor hours for new and existing products.
• Create and update routing information (cycle times, notes).
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and suppliers on technical issues.
• Design, test, and validate tooling and fixtures.
• Create data collection plans to understand process behavior.
