Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to lead process improvements in production and post-production environments. You will analyze operations, prepare reports, and develop detailed work instructions to improve efficiency and reduce defects, while coordinating with multiple orgs to implement lean manufacturing projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with Solumina, SAP, and CATIA, plus a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical studies of complex nature and analyze operations to recommend equipment and methods.
• Author detailed work instructions to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce defects.
• Create DRDI/DMT rework instructions to support corrective actions.
• Generate MBOM in SAP/Solumina/Corridor to ensure correct parts during assembly.
• Lead and coordinate lean manufacturing projects across multiple orgs.
