Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to support the Fabrication area. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize processes, implement automated solutions, and drive continuous improvement using data analytics and SPC approaches.

Responsibilities include developing operation sequences, evaluating equipment performance, and leveraging lean six sigma to improve efficiency, cost, and quality across production layouts and workflows.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering with 3 years of experience
MS in Engineering with 1 year of experience
US citizenship required

Responsibilities

Interfacing with design, manufacturing, test, quality, and other stakeholders as products move from planning to release
Using SAP, dPLM, and other tools to analyze and develop operations sequences and production records
Assisting in procurement and implementation of equipment and material handling systems
Applying lean six sigma concepts to improve workflow efficiencies
Using 2D/3D modeling tools to assist in planning manufacturing cells and layouts
Analyzing data to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and first pass quality
Investigating issues, gathering data, and presenting solutions to teams
Assisting in hazard prevention measures and training programs
