Job summary

Meridian Bioscience Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer responsible for equipment design, fabrication, and troubleshooting, acting as a primary representative during vendor management and URS validation for major manufacturing equipment.

You will review and optimize maintenance, performance, and efficiency with Production and Facility teams. You will lead cross-functional procurement efforts, ensure documentation alignment with SOPs, and mentor fellow engineers while driving project

Qualifications

• A minimum of four years of experience in equipment procurement and/or process design.
• Previous experience in an FDA regulated production environment is desirable.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the Metric System.
• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, CAD knowledge, PLC Database).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read/understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Own periodic reviews of maintenance and validation activities for major production equipment to identify improvement projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets design requirements and goals.
• Manage URS, FAT, and SAT processes for new equipment procurement.
• Mentor engineers in identification and procurement of manufacturing equipment and automation.
• Write and modify manufacturing and equipment related procedures as needed.
• Read, understand, and comply with GMPs and SOPs; ensure accurate documentation.
