Overview

Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Industrial - CT at Michael Page. The base pay range is $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr. This role focuses on advancing automation and manufacturing processes, including studies on manufacturing methods, time, and cost estimates. The client is a well-established and highly respected manufacturer serving aerospace, medical devices, and automotive sectors. The company operates from a modern facility in southern New England and offers a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals for automation, tooling, and mechanization.
• Conduct studies on manufacturing methods, time, and cost estimates.
• Evaluate new equipment and prepare recommendations for procurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product manufacturability.
• Support training and oversight of departmental tasks.
• Prepare technical documentation including test reports and process specifications.

Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical/machine design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pressure vessels, and manufacturing tolerances.
• Experience in project management and cross-departmental collaboration.
