Job summary

HireLifeScience in Marlborough, MA seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead electro-mechanical projects for regulated manufacturing lines. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive schedules, and ensure process readiness and robust documentation control in an ISO-regulated environment.

You will mentor staff, support technology transfers, and improve manufacturability while prioritizing safety and quality. The role reports to the Engineering Manager for Systems and Hardware.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-7+ years in fast-paced manufacturing/regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated project management with cross-functional teams.
• Strong cross-functional communication and leadership abilities.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and improve hardware/systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering projects from scope to execution with timelines and risk management.
• Develop and drive internal project schedules with cross-functional owners.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Service, Product, R&D, Quality, Planning, and vendors as technical lead.
• Troubleshoot and improve hardware, systems builds, and test setups.
• Review design documents and manage manufacturing documentation through EC process.
• Develop practical solutions for hardware integration and process readiness.
• Train manufacturing personnel on new or revised processes and test methods.
