Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to drive the design, optimization, and scaling of our production lines. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and materials teams to deploy new assembly processes and tooling, supporting rapid growth and improved yield.

You will partner with overseas contract manufacturers, establish checks and metrics, and lead initiatives to elevate output while meeting budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with overseas contract manufacturers or suppliers.
• Proactive problem solver with a track record of timely delivery.
• Experience evaluating production line performance metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Improve existing manufacturing lines and scale with volume growth.
• Establish inline checks to catch failures earlier.
• Design and analyze production lines with measurable metrics.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to improve output.
