Job summary

Rainmaker is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to bridge Engineering and Production as its drone platform evolves. You will translate design revisions into actionable build and maintenance documentation and ensure the production floor uses the latest build standards.

You will own build instructions, maintenance procedures, and ECO-driven revisions, while coordinating with procurement and training production staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering field.
• Experience drafting technical build instructions and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and translation of design revisions to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering to roll out design revisions to the drone platform.
• Draft build instructions for revisions and engineering changes.
• Develop maintenance procedures to support reliability across the product lifecycle.
• Liaise with Production to implement changes with minimal disruption.
• Build out quality assurance processes.
• Support root-cause investigations and process improvements tied to changes.
• Maintain version control and traceability of build/maintenance docs.
• Train production staff on new build processes as needed.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely purchasing.
• Identify improvements in equipment, jigs, or assembly workflows.
