Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Fury Team in Columbus, Ohio. You will own parts of the manufacturing value chain, develop tooling, and create processes for building cutting-edge defense hardware at scale.

Responsibilities include working with technicians to build prototype hardware, writing work instructions and quality plans, and coordinating with contract manufacturers to ensure repeatable, scalable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience.
• Knowledge in CAD and production planning tools (ERP, MES).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for a product or set of products.
• Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural parts.
• Develop process flows by breaking down complex assemblies into subassemblies.
• Write documentation for manufacturing at scale (work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements).
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers across disciplines to develop repeatable processes for rapid and at-scale production.
• Work hands-on with technicians and engineers to build prototype hardware.
• Contribute to hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects and PCB fabrication/inspection.
• Travel to suppliers for sourcing and quality improvements.
