Job summary

Fairchild Imaging in San Jose, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain cost-effective manufacturing and test methods for existing products and new introductions. You will be SME in wafer dicing, die attach, wire bonding, epoxy bonding, and camera assembly and test processes.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Production Control, Engineering and suppliers, lead design reviews, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing/Process Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electronics assembly/test processes and quality systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop new manufacturing processes / tooling and resolve constraints.
• Review engineering changes for producibility and manage first article release.
• Create work instructions, procedures, and training for manufacturing.
• Lead cost analysis and process measurements, drive improvements.
• Interface with supply chain, suppliers, and internal customers.
