Job summary

FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc. seeks a seasoned engineer to develop and improve MEMS wafer fab processes. You will own tools and processes, provide production support, and partner with R&D and manufacturing to qualify new tools for volume production.

The role demands 5+ years in a related field, strong problem solving, and collaboration across engineering teams. Competitive compensation is offered in Santa Clara, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or Physics with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in semiconductor or MEMS manufacturing desired.
• Ability to find root causes of wafer fab problems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve wafer fab processes working on MEMS disciplines (Photolithography, Wet Etch, Thin Films, Sputtering, PECVD, Bond, CMP, etc.).
• Use wafer metrology tools to analyze problems, failures and technical issues.
• Apply problem-solving and project management skills to resolve a wide range of technical product problems.
• Communicate effectively to motivate others and resolve problems using company resources.
• Organize problem-solving strategies and present them clearly to stakeholders.
• Use SPC, DoE, and yield data to resolve identified problems.
