Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements in plant operations, develop efficient manufacturing processes, and provide hands-on maintenance and engineering support.

The candidate will ensure safety, quality, customer service, and cost goals are met through effective operations and cross-functional collaboration. Strong design and hands-on experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience in process engineering/maintenance with emphasis on continuous process improvement.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, process improvement, and product design.
• Understanding of construction scopes (framing, electrical, exterior finishes, interior finishes).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and root cause analysis skills.
• Proven problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and change management activities.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and UL compliance.
• Proven Lean manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Active listening and effective communication; openness to diverse input.

• Creates and maintains documentation of tool drawings and design concepts
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and production equipment

SUMMARY

BLUvera is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the construction products manufacturing and fabrication process engineering department. This role is responsible for leading process improvements in plant operations, developing and implementing manufacturing processes, and providing hands-on maintenance and engineering support.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager or Engineering Manager, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will ensure plant objectives in safety, quality, customer service, and cost are met through efficient and effective operations. The ideal candidate will have a combination of previous hands-on and design experience in equipment maintenance, process, and product design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The base pay range for this role is $103,200 - $154,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
