Job summary

Swarm Aero in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to build production lines from the ground up and implement high-rate processes for advanced autonomous aircraft. You will partner with design teams to enable DFM and oversee tooling and facility development.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in aerospace manufacturing, experience with composite and metallic processes, and proficiency with CAD/manufacturing tools such as Siemens NX, Fibersim, Warpdrive, NetSuite, ION, Manufacturo or

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing/engineering field; advanced degree preferred.
7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, aerospace/defense exposure ideal.
Experience with composite and metallic manufacturing processes.
Proficiency with CAD/manufacturing tools and quality control knowledge.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with designers to develop aircraft for production and implement DFM.
Set up manufacturing facilities, procure heavy equipment, and design tooling.
Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes for composite and metallic components.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and tooling designs.
Conduct feasibility studies and production readiness reviews for new designs.
Own prototype production and support transition to full-scale manufacturing.
