Job summary

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer at GE Vernova Houston Service Center will repair and overhaul Aero-derivative gas turbine engines and modules, supporting 120+ engines/year and 400 modules/year. You will lead shop floor improvements and support 180+ personnel to drive standardization, productivity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include owning process work instructions, partnering with Operations, Quality and Tooling, guiding Kaizen events, managing budgets for tooling and repairs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Industrial/Aeronautical with 3+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing experience driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own shop floor work instructions and ensure compliance with OEM Manuals.
• Provide leadership/mentorship for team to lead shop floor improvement projects to resolution.
