What You’ll Work On

• Asset Reliability Strategy; Develop and implement reliability strategies for equipment and systems. Define critical assets and prioritize reliability efforts based on risk and impact.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA); Investigate equipment failures and production issues. Make recommendations and implement them based on RCA findings
• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance; Review maintenance activities to reduce unplanned downtime. Update maintenance programs based on recent trends and investigations
• Data Analysis &Performance Monitoring; Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential issues. Trend MTBF and MTTR metrics to identify bad actors.
• Continuous Improvement; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment design and operational procedures. Create documentation like CRs, FSIs, etc. to implement changes. Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve uptime, and enhance safety. Work with Project Engineering and Division to introduce new pieces of equipment.
• Risk Management; Assess risks associated with equipment failure and develop mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing; Work with Engineering techs to train maintenance and on reliability best practices. Promote a culture of reliability across the organization. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with heavy machinery in a regulated environment

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
