Job summary

MDS Staffing in Minnesota seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer Leader to drive process improvements and lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing new manufacturing technologies.

You will review data, mentor staff, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while delivering cost reductions and productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) required.
• 7-10 years manufacturing engineering experience with strong process development skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methods.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and project management.
• Preferred: experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 tools and concepts.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or similar credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement to reduce waste and improve quality.

• Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues.
