Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve test yields, throughput, capacity, and product quality by analyzing failures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. The role also evaluates test processes, plans capacity and staffing, selects capital equipment, and supports production readiness and measurement studies.

Qualifications

  • Requires a STEM degree and at least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least three years of experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include electronics manufacturing and product testing experience, statistical and process-control knowledge, Six Sigma and Lean expertise, and strong analytical and communication skills.
