Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Cost Reduction Specialist (Navigator) to lead projects mainly in the USA and Mexico focusing on Indirect Cost optimization across factories. The role involves leading initiatives to improve contribution margins by reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in areas such as MRO, Transport & Logistics, Packaging, Energy & Utilities.

This is a remote position requiring flexibility and travel (~60%). When not traveling, work can be from home or an office.

You will collaborate with stakeholders in Procurement, Logistics, and Suppliers, working in a multicultural environment to drive projects and change initiatives aimed at reducing Indirect Costs in our factories, which are part of a global network with over 61 factories.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead cross-functional projects to identify and implement indirect cost savings.
2. Secure stakeholder buy-in, analyze data, define project scope, and assemble project teams.
3. Assist in preparing business cases and tactical implementation plans.
4. Manage performance to ensure timely project execution, report to management, and implement corrective actions.
5. Promote a culture of sustainable change and productivity.
6. Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to foster high performance and continuous improvement, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
7. Share best practices and uphold Danfoss standards within a global team.

Background & Skills

• At least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Continuous Improvement, preferably in manufacturing or consulting.
• Proven track record of implementing cost-saving change management projects.
