Qualifications

5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense or related environments.
Strong inventory accounting experience required.
Experience working with government contracts or cost-based proposals preferred.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
ERP system experience is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cost models for manufacturing, repair, and operations.
Refine costing functions in a complex environment without traditional standard costing.
Analyze inventory transactions, valuations, and cost flows across long-duration projects.
Evaluate pricing and purchasing data to improve reporting accuracy.
Support month-end close, journal entries, and cost reporting.
Partner with operations and supply chain to improve inventory integrity.
