Curt G. Joa, Inc. is seeking a Cost Accounting Analyst to lead manufacturing cost accounting, job costing, budgeting, and financial analysis. You will partner with Operations, Sales, and Project Management to provide cost visibility, profitability insights, and budget oversight.

Responsibilities include standard costing, forecasting support, and maintaining R&D tax credit calculations and reports. This role drives cost improvement and ensures accurate costing for major machine projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Understands basic accounting concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with TCM (Workwise) software.
• Ability to develop, write and follow procedures.
• Ability to present information to managers, auditors and regulators.

Aufgaben

• Lead standard costing process and related general ledger activities.
• Oversee job costing for major machine projects, kits and spare parts.
• Reconcile AP, Inventory Management and Job Costing interfaces.
• Analyze and report PPV, inventory, warranty and R&D costs.
• Conduct profitability analysis for machines, kits, and parts.
• Prepare monthly and annual manufacturing cost analyses and reports.
• Maintain project costing records for major machine projects.
• Support Sales with costing information for customer quotes.
• Lead annual operating budget process and forecast planning.
• Determine labor capacity requirements from sales forecasts and production plans.
• Analyze labor/overhead requirements and calculate standard rates.
• Prepare recurring monthly journal entries.
• Calculate departmental cost allocations.
• Perform monthly budget-to-actual analysis and variance reporting.
• Prepare month-end margin analysis and cost of sales reconciliations.
• Serve as financial business partner for SG&A and other departments.
• Support audits and cost improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to ERP system transition as needed.
