Job summary
Roche Diagnostics in Indianapolis is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - Controls to lead manufacturing methods, automate processes, and support validation and continuous improvement of automated equipment.
You will mentor cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with Roche standards and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on troubleshooting, optimizing equipment controls, and collaborating with maintenance, production, and engineering to deliver high-quality diagnostics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related discipline with 5 years relevant experience.
- Master’s of Engineering/PhD with 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience troubleshooting, modifying, and developing industrial equipment controls systems (PLCs, HMIs, Motion Control).
Responsibilities
- Leads development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, procedures and processes.
- Develops and improves automation and electromechanical processes.
- Interfaces with design and process development engineering to coordinate release of new products.
