Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 30% travel required; US, Canada, and Mexico focus.
• 6+ years in mechanical design of automation.
• Proficiency with Creo (3D modeling) and Fanuc Roboguide required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Copilot.
• Must be self-motivated and work well in a project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of automation solutions across Kohler’s global manufacturing network.
• Provide technical leadership from concept through implementation.
• Develop business cases with financial justification for investments.
• Collaborate with plant teams, engineering leaders, and suppliers.
• Ensure equipment readiness prior to project kick-off and readiness for new product launches.
• Stay updated on automation technologies and deploy new tools as needed.
