Job summary

Hard Rock Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to ensure high-quality player experiences across authentication, account management, promotions, rewards, and geolocation. You will own testing across web, mobile, API, and backend systems, applying hands-on testing and AI-assisted tools to improve QA effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality assurance focusing on manual testing.
• Proven experience testing web and mobile apps in complex production environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman or Swagger.
• Strong debugging across frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with DevTools, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, and emulators.
• Ability to write SQL queries for validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted tools into QA workflows.
• Ability to work independently with solid ownership of testing efforts.
• Strong communication and collaboration within cross-functional Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the SDLC to ensure quality and release readiness.
• Review requirements to develop effective test strategies and coverage.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, cases, and exploratory tests across web, mobile, API, and backend.
• Conduct regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing for critical features.
• Identify, document, track, and help troubleshoot defects.
• Assess release risk and provide QA recommendations for complex features.
• Partner with Eng and Product to identify risks early and improve quality.
• Use Postman, Swagger, DevTools, and emulators to validate functionality.
• Validate backend integrations and data consistency with SQL queries.
• Mentor junior/mid QA engineers on testing best practices.
• Own testing strategy and execution for complex initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements.
