Cooper Machinery Services is seeking an experienced machinist to turn blueprints into precision one-off parts and tooling for engines and compressors, supporting aftermarket and turbocharger services. You will read complex drawings, set up manual lathes/mills, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of manual machining experience, strong measurement skills, and the physical ability to lift 40 pounds.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–8 years of manual machining experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools (dial/Vernier calipers, mics).
• Ability to read complex drawings and specs.
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and perform manual labor.

Mansioni

• Set up and run manual lathes, mills, and drills to produce one-off parts per drawings.
• Read blueprints and job cards to determine dimensions, tolerances, and quantities.
• Repair and restore parts for turbocharger service.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to prints and routing instructions.
