Bank of America is seeking an experienced Manual Ethical Hacker to join our Cyber Security Assurance Offensive Security team in the Denver area. The role focuses on performing application security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and guiding remediation across the bank’s applications and controls.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of pentesting experience, hands-on expertise with Burp, AppScan, and SQL Map, and strong programming and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional pentesting or application security experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong technical knowledge in security engineering, authentication and security protocols, and web technologies.
• Experience with manual code reviews for security issues and with SAST tools.
• Ability to reproduce findings, discuss remediation concepts, and develop PoCs.

Responsabilités

• Analyze internal and external threats on information systems.
• Incorporate attack techniques into offensive security testing.
• Assess security of multiple technology systems and controls.
• Provide practical risk guidance and remediation recommendations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and briefings for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior assessors and share expertise.
