Senior Manager – Workday Financials

Expected pay range: $175,000–$225,000 USD annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of consultants.
• Lead engagements within the Workday Financials Practice and recommend best practices related to Workday functionality.
• Manage support requests related to Workday Financials, requiring workstream management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert, developing system configuration solutions, composite reports, and calculated fields; prototype systems, and assist client in testing the Workday solution.
• Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform.
• Support client‑side implementations, including assembling data‑gathering workbooks, system testing, and UAT.
• Work with clients to convert legacy data into Workday.
• Establish effective working relationships with clients and outside vendors.
• Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features across new Workday releases.
• Perform peer reviews, manage, train, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• 6+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management and hands‑on experience delivering Workday solutions in this area.
• 4+ years as an Implementation Manager, or Systems Architect with Workday, a Workday Partner or Workday Client.
• 2+ years experience in project management.
• Deep functional knowledge of financial systems and processes, advanced report writing skills, and experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus.
• Current or previous Workday Certification highly desired, including Workday PRO.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to support multiple customers concurrently on short‑duration projects.
