Senior Manager – Workday Financials
Expected pay range: $175,000–$225,000 USD annually, based on qualifications and experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of consultants.
- Lead engagements within the Workday Financials Practice and recommend best practices related to Workday functionality.
- Manage support requests related to Workday Financials, requiring workstream management and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert, developing system configuration solutions, composite reports, and calculated fields; prototype systems, and assist client in testing the Workday solution.
- Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform.
- Support client‑side implementations, including assembling data‑gathering workbooks, system testing, and UAT.
- Work with clients to convert legacy data into Workday.
- Establish effective working relationships with clients and outside vendors.
- Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features across new Workday releases.
- Perform peer reviews, manage, train, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- 6+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management and hands‑on experience delivering Workday solutions in this area.
- 4+ years as an Implementation Manager, or Systems Architect with Workday, a Workday Partner or Workday Client.
- 2+ years experience in project management.
- Deep functional knowledge of financial systems and processes, advanced report writing skills, and experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus.
- Current or previous Workday Certification highly desired, including Workday PRO.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to support multiple customers concurrently on short‑duration projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Finance/Accounting.
